Bateaux london, a dinner cruise on the River Thames

THAMES AT NIGHT…Tom and I were invited by @bateauxlondon to go on an evening dinner cruise down the River Thames. I’ve lived in London all my life and had not done this before. It was spectacular, I cannot recommend this wonderful dinner cruise enough, especially as a gift to a loved one.

We were invited to Eccleston Yards Biscuiteers (Instagram @biscuiteersltd) to sample their afternoon tea in the heart of London’s Belgravia.
Tucked behind the famous luxury biscuit shop, there’s the afternoon tea area as well as an area where you can book a session to decorate biscuits. Do check out this little gem.

Moussaka: three ways

Here’s a one-minute video showing you how I put this together. Sorry, I’m no food videographer and I did this in a rush between seeing clients, but hopefully you get the gist. It isn’t a complicated recipe, but it is time consuming as there are three stages to it: roasting the aubergines, making the tomato sauce and thirdly, making the béchamel sauce.

This is us celebrating our 21st wedding anniversary in the heart of Covent Garden, London. We were kindly invited to try the lunch menu at @el_takoy_london and it didn’t disappoint. There’s seating inside or in the bustling lively square and as it was a glorious sunny day, we chose to sit outside.
