Disclosure policy

Blogs are written and edited by Anita Feron Clark. They are topics which I am interested in and I think my clients would be interested in too and I do not accept guest posts. Feron clark style accepts forms of advertising and sometimes items for review and forms of compensation such as sponsored posts.

Gifted items, advertising and sponsored posts

Any compensation received will not influence the content, topics or posts made in this blog. I will only recommend products that I truly believe to be worth it. All advertising is in the form of advertisements generated by a third party ad network. Those advertisements are clearly displayed as paid advertisements.
Unless otherwise stated, the owner of this blog is not compensated to provide opinion on products, services, websites and various other topics. The views and opinions expressed on this blog are purely the blog owner’s. If I claim or appear to be an expert on a certain topic or product or service area, I will only endorse products or services that I believe, based on my expertise, are worthy of such endorsement. Any product claim, statistic, quote or other representation about a product or service should be verified with the manufacturer or provider.
If I am ever sent a product to review and I decide to write about it, I will credit it as gifted. I won’t say positive things about a product that I don’t fully endorse but neither will I say anything negative – I will simply decline to publish a review and feed back to the company who sent it. This blog does not contain any content which might present a conflict of interest.
If I link to a product that I have been sent to review, I will follow Google guidelines and ensure that all links are no follow. I do not include do follow links for any form of compensation.

Affiliate links

Sometimes I use affiliate links which may mean I earn a small amount of commission on some products. The pennies earned from affiliate sales mount up slowly during the year to enable me to pay the annual hosting bill for feron clark style. They help with other expenses I incur for running my own business. They also cover server management, technical support, software and plugins that are required to keep this blog operating to a high standard.
The use of affiliate links enables me earn some funds to put towards my business’s running expenses. Bloggers and influencers need to cover their costs in the same way that magazines do although magazines have the option of charging a cover price and advertising to finance the costs of publication.

Criteria

If you would like me to review your product, and you think it suits my readers, please email anita@feronclarkstyle.com. If I think my readers will be interested, I will get back to you. Before contacting me, please bear in mind that feron clark style is written for women over 35 who are both intelligent and discerning. They have a good disposable income but they are savvy with their money. They enjoy the challenge of balancing investment items in their wardrobes and homes with more cost-effective items. Quality is critical and I will not review products that I deem not to be of a high standard.
Regardless of whether you are a reader or a brand, I hope that this has helped you to understand my operating principles. Blogging is a new and, as yet, unregulated industry but I take great care to ensure that I am operating in an open and honest way.
