January 2023 sees the launch of Richmond’s only farm shop, ‘The Fat Badger Farm Shop’. It’s been launched by the dynamic brother duo Richard and Oliver Gladwin. The Local & Wild farm shop brings the countryside to Richmond, offering you a changing seasonal selection of premium British produce predominantly sourced sustainably from small UK growers and local producers.
Toad in the Hole, what’s not to love? Golden baked sausages roasted in a light and crispy giant Yorkshire pudding. For vegetarians substitute with Linda McCarthney’s vegetarian red onion and rosemary sausages and add a little extra oil when cooking them.
Tucked behind an iconic location – Buckingham Palace, The Guardsman Hotel @theguardsmanhotel is a beautiful 60-room boutique hotel. The interior design is exquisite yet cosy and warm. The ground-floor lounge leads you down a beautiful spiral staircase to the basement restaurant.

Last week my friend and I headed to Mercato Mayfair in the heart of Mayfair. It’s a foodie extravanza in the utterly beautiful converted St. Mark’s Church (Grade I listed).
My lovely friend Bea from @a_london_story (please check out her brilliant Insta account) invited me to the Rails restaurant at the @gnhotel for afternoon tea. They have just launched a new Nyetimber sparkling wine afternoon tea which includes a glass of Nyetimber English sparkling wine alongside the sweet and delicious savoury treats. You can choose from a wide range of bespoke loose leaf tea blends from East India Tea company. The interior design is to die for, you’ll love it!
Tom and I were invited to this lovely restaurant in the heart of Covent Garden, London. The modern British menu is reinvented monthly and there’s a tasting menu, lunch, pre theatre and roast options. The staff were so attentive and friendly and the food was hearty and delicious. I highly recommend a visit.
Absolutely LOVED the Christmas menu at The Black Lamb @theblacklamb_resto in the heart of Wimbledon Village. Over three hours, Tom and I devoured most of this delicious menu cooked with British produce and washed down with English wines. Exceptional value at £49.95 per person for the set menu.
