Tucked behind an iconic location – Buckingham Palace, The Guardsman Hotel @theguardsmanhotel is a beautiful 60-room boutique hotel. The interior design is exquisite yet cosy and warm. The Dining Room is exclusively for hotel residents and their guests. Whether you want a lazy brunch, a quick pre-theatre supper or a late-night romantic dinner, the restaurant is always open. The menus are developed from seasonal produce from carefully selected suppliers, sourced locally where possible. Jarek and Blessing took good care of us, the service was professional, personal and discreet.


What we ate:
Courgette and mint soup, roasted marrow
Charred Norfolk asparagus, poached Burford born, hollandaise

Sea bass fillet, buttered leeks, crushed potatoes, Champagne veloute

The broken vegan tart
Sticky toffee pudding, caramel sauce, coconut sorbet
Pistachio, passion fruit and mango ice cream
