Toad in the Hole, what’s not to love? Golden baked sausages roasted in a light and crispy giant Yorkshire pudding. For vegetarians substitute with Linda McCarthney’s vegetarian red onion and rosemary sausages and add a little extra oil when cooking them.
If you are in Richmond, I highly recommend visiting Petersham Nurseries @petershamnurseries. It’s about a 15-minute walk along the River Thames. It’s beautiful throughout the year. I took my in-laws, and they loved it as they enjoy gardening and a cuppa with cake!
Tucked behind an iconic location - Buckingham Palace, The Guardsman Hotel @theguardsmanhotel is a beautiful 60-room boutique hotel. The interior design is exquisite yet cosy and warm. The ground-floor lounge leads you down a beautiful spiral staircase to the basement restaurant.
This Thai fish cake recipe is a family favourite. My super duper-talented friend May Simpkin made these for us when I had the pleasure to join her on a yoga retreat in the Loire Valley, in France. Please check out her website and Instagram, you'll love everything this brilliant nutritionist stands for.
We recently had a two-night stay at @thefigrye The Fig is an independent, lively café with four beautiful rooms. The focus is on fresh, vibrant healthy food. The grub is utterly divine, we wiped our plates clean every time. We’d go back in a heartbeat just to eat at The Fig. No chips or ketchup but the teens devoured every dish.
Enjoy an unmissable after dark spectacle of lights at RHS Garden Wisley @rhswisley this festive season.

In late October we had a wonderful family holiday in New York. Here I’d like to share with you my top tips for travelling as a family to the city that never sleeps.
Tom and I recently had the pleasure of an overnight stay at an exquisite, ultra-boutique hotel in London’s Marylebone: Henry’s Townhouse. Situated in one of London's most sought-after postcodes on Upper Berkeley Street, it's about a five-minute walk from Marble Arch station, tucked behind the hustle and bustle of Oxford Street.
Here's a one-minute video showing you how I put this together. Sorry, I'm no food videographer and I did this in a rush between seeing clients, but hopefully you get the gist. It isn't a complicated recipe, but it is time consuming as there are three stages to it: roasting the aubergines, making the tomato sauce and thirdly, making the béchamel sauce.
🍂Autumn tablescaping🍂 I love dressing our dining table and there doesn’t always have to be an occasion apart from it was the weekend and I wanted to faff 🥰🥰🥰. Happy Tuesday folks. Going to cook leek & potato soup, quick & easy as I want to crack on with the last couple of ‘Squid Game’ […]
