Tucked behind an iconic location – Buckingham Palace, The Guardsman Hotel @theguardsmanhotel is a beautiful 60-room boutique hotel. The interior design is exquisite yet cosy and warm. The ground-floor lounge leads you down a beautiful spiral staircase to the basement restaurant.

We recently had a two-night stay at @thefigrye The Fig is an independent, lively café with four beautiful rooms. The focus is on fresh, vibrant healthy food. The grub is utterly divine, we wiped our plates clean every time. We’d go back in a heartbeat just to eat at The Fig. No chips or ketchup but the teens devoured every dish.

In late October we had a wonderful family holiday in New York. Here I’d like to share with you my top tips for travelling as a family to the city that never sleeps.  

Tom and I recently had the pleasure of an overnight stay at an exquisite, ultra-boutique hotel in London’s Marylebone: Henry’s Townhouse. Situated in one of London’s most sought-after postcodes on Upper Berkeley Street, it’s about a five-minute walk from Marble Arch station, tucked behind the hustle and bustle of Oxford Street.

Ibiza is the third largest of the Balearic Islands, situated in the Mediterranean Sea off the eastern coast of the Iberian Peninsula.  Given its one hundred miles of coastline and over fifty beaches, the island is surprisingly small; you can easily drive from one end to the other in under an hour.
