jeans for women
Hello! As you may or may not know, I’m regarded as a ‘micro influencer’ on Instagram and have recently been asked to work with John Lewis & Partners on their jeans/denim range. So many of you love wearing jeans but loathe shopping for them as there’s so much choice and where do you begin? I like to think I know a thing or two about jeans since I started as a trainee buyer in the jeans department at M&S and have subsequently held workshops on jeans and regularly take clients jeans shopping. I am often asked questions about jeans which is why, when you subscribe to my newsletter, you get a FREE jeans e-book to help you decipher the jeans maze; there’s a great deal of choice out there in terms of shape, colour, weight, etc. With John Lewis & Partners backing, I thought it would be timely to put together two videos to help you choose the perfect pair of jeans from their extensive range, available in store and on-line, for spring, summer and beyond; and to show you how to keep them in pristine condition, as they may be an investment buy. All the jeans have been independently selected by me from the range on offer at John Lewis & Partners; I was under no obligation to show any particular brand.
John Lewis & Partners have just launched a fashion offer and it’s all over their website. If you are a my John Lewis loyalty member you can claim £30 back when you spend £200 on jeans, denim or fashion this month. If you were to buy a pair of jeans or two and a top, you’d easily qualify. Full details are on their website once you click through from the links.
Part one of the video (click here) is about how to choose the perfect pair of jeans, taking into consideration some key factors; part two, which will be released on Thursday 27 February, is about how to keep your jeans in pristine condition.
Did you know John Lewis & Partners stock 500 denim styles, with Levi’s being their most popular brand? The ‘721 To The Nines’ in indigo high-rise is their best seller. Paige and J Brand are also popular. Skinnies are the most popular fit but straight styles are catching up. In 2020, their AND/OR denim is made using Jeanologica software which measures environmental impact – the amount of water, chemicals and energy used in production – and rates this impact (low/medium). All AND/OR denim is made from organic cotton and recycled polyester. Click here to view their full range: John Lewis & Partners jeans.
Full details of all the jeans and some of the tops shown in my video are available to purchase from my website under ‘shop’ and ‘denim’. Here’s the link: https://feronclarkstyle.com/product-category/denim/ No doubt you’ll have your favourite styles from your favourite brands, which is brilliant if you feel and look great in them. If you are less sure, I hope that my video will serve as a guide and provide some insight.
If you follow me on Instagram the videos will be saved in my highlights and appear on my IGTV; the link to shop the jeans I tried on is in my bio. Please feel free to comment, share, follow and recommend. The videos will also be on my YouTube channel, feron clark style.
Bye for now
