Hello!
Some of you may be aware that Instagram @feronclarkstyle has been a brilliant visual platform for me, enabling me to grow my business, to impart colour and style tips and to showcase brands that offer products and services which I love and think you will, too. From time to time I share these with you via my newsletters.
Instagram has been a brilliant way to discover brands I love working with. These collaborations are usually with incredibly talented women who are at the helm of little businesses. I wanted to share with you some of those I’ve come across recently. I am under no obligation to write this, I simply feel that these little brands would benefit from a shout-out and some exposure. Let’s face it, retailers of all sizes, from sole traders to the big boys, could all do with a little support right now.
With some of these brands I have been gifted items, or worked with them on paid commissions. Where possible, some of them have kindly offered a discount.
Bags: Betsy and Floss
Bags: Betsy and Floss
Holly is the owner of this lovely brand and she named her business Betsy and Floss after her two grandmothers. I had the pleasure meeting her on a recent trip to Cheltenham. The brand stocks beautiful, handcrafted basket and leather bags and accessories. I own two straw bags and a leather cross-body bag and if you scroll through my IG feed, you’ll see them in all their glory. They’ve been with me to India, Europe, around town and on staycation. I can vouch for the quality –amazing!

Luxury silk goods: Bella Singleton
Luxury silk goods: Bella Singleton
I had the pleasure of meeting lovely Bella a few weeks ago in London. Bella Singleton began as a scarf label, producing silk squares of the very highest quality. From there, new styles were added each season and in SS20, the leap to clothing was made. Based in Norfolk, the brand focuses on botanical images with a graphic edge of geometrics and unusual shapes. With colours that pop and patterns that draw attention, Bella’s collections are stocked in Tate Modern amongst other places.

I recently had the pleasure of meeting Emma at her pop-up shop in Marylebone and fell in love with the reversible rings. Founders Venetia & Emma started Coco & Kinney in 2017 after bonding over a passion for jewellery, gemstones and colour. This passion took them to Thailand & India, the heart of the gemstone world, where they go every year to handpick gems for the collections. Many items are detachable and interchangeable, allowing flexibility in how you wear the pieces.

Jewellery: September_twenty_two
I came across Anna’s brand when I saw some ladies I follow on Instagram wearing her beautiful pieces; my favourites are from the paperclip collection. We got chatting and I discovered that she lives and works from her studio in Richmond, where she creates the pieces with her faithful dogs by her side. I love the way she talks about her passion for jewellery on the ‘about me’ page of her website: https://septembertwentytwo.com
